Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to design tailored solutions that address client requirements.
- Evaluate pre-construction documentation to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Design and document system requirements, including cabling layouts, equipment specifications, and material lists.
- Provide detailed labor and material cost estimates to support accurate project pricing.
- Develop technical drawings such as block diagrams, reflective ceiling plans, and acoustical models.
- Support installation teams by providing technical expertise during project execution and assisting with final sign-off.
- Review and validate the work of junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Act as a resource for evaluating and recommending new technologies and vendor solutions.
- Travel occasionally to provide on-site technical support or attend client meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years work experience into Audio Visual.
- Strong technical expertise in AV system design and configuration.
- Proficiency in using design tools such as CAD, Visio, or similar software.
- Experience with diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
- Familiarity with IP networking concepts and AV programming platforms (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS).
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines independently.
- Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in working with Sales teams and clients from different regions.
