Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to design tailored solutions that address client requirements.
  • Evaluate pre-construction documentation to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Design and document system requirements, including cabling layouts, equipment specifications, and material lists.
  • Provide detailed labor and material cost estimates to support accurate project pricing.
  • Develop technical drawings such as block diagrams, reflective ceiling plans, and acoustical models.
  • Support installation teams by providing technical expertise during project execution and assisting with final sign-off.
  • Review and validate the work of junior engineers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Act as a resource for evaluating and recommending new technologies and vendor solutions.
  • Travel occasionally to provide on-site technical support or attend client meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years work experience into Audio Visual.
  • Strong technical expertise in AV system design and configuration.
  • Proficiency in using design tools such as CAD, Visio, or similar software.
  • Experience with diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
  • Familiarity with IP networking concepts and AV programming platforms (e.g., Crestron, Q-SYS).
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines independently.
  • Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with Sales teams and clients from different regions.
