Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven and customer-focused Integration Consultant to join our team working on a peer-leading project for a period of 12-18 months. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the Architects to interpret the overall proposed solution and document integration requirements, process flow diagrams and any technical specifications. This role will also involve validation of interfaces during test phases to ensure overall business requirements are met.
As this is a Contract role, you will be required to have your own ABN/ACN and relevant insurance.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing integration contracts.
- Document technical designs, diagrams, and flow charts to prepare technical specifications supporting the solution.
- Build, maintain and modify application code as per requirements
- Responsible for test case preparation and assisting with SIT of interfaces
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Documenting all the changes that are made to the applications and managing the technical and functional documentation.
- Effectively prioritises work and deliverables according to specified timeframes.
- Classify the defects raised and undertake an immediate effort to fix them ensuring a smoother delivery.
- Provide support during the application delivery times and able to handle the issues during the deployment.
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
- Demonstrated experience as an Integration Consultant using one or more platforms desirably Azure API, Azure cloud, and Azure App services etc.
- Ability to provide technical consultation in integration space to some of the functional teams/squads.
- Hands-on experience in preparing interface contracts, integration designs, and building and testing of the interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in performance verification/tuning of interface
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with others, multi-task, and prioritise

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development or integration
- Experience with cloud-based integration solutions
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and toolsets
- Working knowledge of multiple programming languages
- Working knowledge of banking interfaces (desirable)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
