Convergint is looking for several full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven and customer service-oriented Apprentice Security Technicians to join our amazing culture.
The Role
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will be working on a variety of industry-leading control systems, wireless network equipment, intruder/alarm systems, a variety of CCTV systems and other building control-based systems/applications. You will be partnered with one of our Senior Field Technicians who will support, mentor and train you.
What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”.
- Installation of small to large commercial projects.
- Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects.
- System programming of small to medium commercial projects.
- Diagnoses and fault findings of all security equipment
- Liaising with Senior Field Technicians during the installation and commissioning of minor works and major projects.
- Assisting the service department and projects team with new and existing works.
Requirements:
- Experience with Security and/or Access Control Systems is beneficial but not essential.
- Must have a current driver’s licence
- Self-motivated & able to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills, honest, hardworking, reliable
- Computer literate.
- Construction Industry card (White Card) (preferred, not essential)
- Work Safe High-Risk Licence (preferred, not essential)
- EWPA Licence (preferred, not essential)
