Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. A Service Engineer is responsible for security system service and maintenance according to Convergint’s standards to ensure minimum system downtime and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the customer service representative to quickly and efficiently solve customers’ security system issues
- Provide support and maintenance services such as routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, system upgrades/expansions/alterations, and systems training
- Increase customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Renew maintenance contracts as necessary
- Ensure quality of Convergint services by strictly following company standards and policies to deliver a prompt and efficient response to all service requests in the region
- Handle daily troubleshooting and follow up on all open technical issues until the problem is resolved
- Take over all service issues from the project team after the external handover is complete
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or above in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the security industry with knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems is considered a plus
- Basic IT knowledge in hardware, networks, and databases
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Strong self-learning ability and able to work independently
- Customer-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
