Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. A Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards to ensure excellent project quality and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s policy and standards
- Participate in project management and provide security services to customers
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on time and according to Convergint’s standards and policies
- Develop security system design and drawings using AutoCAD
- Carry out troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of security systems
- Assist and provide technical support to sales and other departments
- Proactively communicate with customers and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Provide on-site customer training
- Be familiar with related security products and technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience in security and/or electronic systems project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment
- Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Visio, and databases
- Familiar with access control, video surveillance, and alarm system products and systems is an advantage
- Experience with Gallagher, Lenel, and Honeywell Pro-watch systems is an advantage
- Willing to work on-site
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Full English business proficiency (oral and written)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Customer service-oriented
- A quick learner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
