Convergint Japan is looking for a professional with great enthusiasm, strong results-driven, customer service-oriented and passionate personality to join us for the Project Manager role. As a Project Manager, you are directly responsible for project planning, organising required resources, site progress supervision, commissioning the installed system, and the ultimate project quality assurance according to the customer expectations as well as Convergint’s standards. Representing the company in front of the customers and ensuring their overall satisfaction will be the core value of this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects according to Convergint’s policies and standards to meet client satisfaction.
- Prepare projects, including project scheduling, budget review, sales order checking, and conducting the kick-off meeting.
- To lead site meetings and coordination, including preparation and distribution of meeting minutes. Perform coordination with the client & any 3rd parties in the project.
- Conduct internal & client handover upon project completion.
- Risk & crisis management as required throughout the project.
- To manage Convergint Project Team and the appointed sub-contractor.
- Prepare, review, and manage all documentation for the assigned project.
- Ensure security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming in accordance with Convergint’s policies and standards.
- Assist and provide technical support to sales and other functional departments.
- Conduct on-site client’s system training upon project handover.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in security products & solutions.
Requirements
- Project management experience as a primary advantage.
- Japanese is primary, conversational English skills will be advantageous.
- Working experience in either security, or structure cabling, construction, architecture or AV/ ELV, or electronic system project implementation & commissioning will be a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills,
- Effective communication skills.
- AutoCAD operations work knowledge.
- Knowledge of network and low-voltage systems will be a plus but NOT a must.
- Basic IT knowledge in hardware, networks, and database set up.
- Electronic system installation and commissioning.
- Willing to work on the project site throughout the project implementation stage.
- Experience with Lenel, Cisco, S2 systems, Video management set up and router configuration will be a plus but NOT a must.
