QA / Senior QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer, India

Convergint is looking for an experienced Application Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Global IT Delivery Center in Bengaluru. An Application Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for manual testing and developing automated test suites in Java or C#. They will work closely with development teams, scrum masters, and product managers to ensure that software meets quality and business standards.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology and related quality concepts and processes
• Identify dependencies, risks, and define the overall strategy for testing complex systems or applications
• Write test cases and other application development documentation
• Review business and functional requirements to produce a test strategy and test cases
• Use programming languages, mainly C#, to automate UI and API test cases
• Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases
• Translate existing manual regression test cases into automated tests
• Work with large datasets, back-end testing, and validate information as it flows throughout the system
• Manage test environments, including creating datasets, requesting deployments, and troubleshooting issues
• Work with Azure DevOps, SQL, and Visual Studio
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
• Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality
• Actively work on adding skills, taking ownership in tasks, and making responsible decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in enterprise application testing (test case development and execution)
• Experience in test automation and manual testing
• Familiar with CRM tools, such as D365, Salesforce, etc.
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement and change management culture, with experience evaluating technical delivery issues and risks, and actively evaluating opportunities to improve
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the proven ability to successfully manage timeliness and critical paths with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain objective and base recommendations and decisions on sound business principles and user requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
